How we got here
The first hello
Two people reaching for the last copy of the same novel. James let Amelia have it — on the condition she tell him how it ended.
First date
A two-hour coffee turned into dinner, then a walk across the bridge at midnight. Neither of us remembers what we ate.
Home
We moved in together and adopted Biscuit, who has opinions about everything, especially the couch.
The question
On a hike in the Catskills, at the top of the trail where we first said “I love you,” James got down on one knee.
The celebration

The Orchard Barn
Casual cocktails, lawn games and wood-fired pizza. Come as you are.
Saturday · 4:00 pm
The Garden Lawn
Please arrive by 3:30 pm. The ceremony is outdoors under the old oaks.
Saturday · 5:30 pm
The Glasshouse
Cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and dancing until midnight.
Dress code: garden formal — think soft colours and comfortable shoes for the lawn.
Getting there
The nearest airport is Stewart International (45 min). JFK and Newark are about two hours by car.
Complimentary shuttles run from both hotels at 3:00 pm and return hourly from 10:00 pm.
We've reserved room blocks until April 30. Mention “Amelia & James” when booking.

Yes, free parking is available on site. If you plan to celebrate, please take the shuttle or a taxi home.
