Content and corrections

A tool is useful when you can understand its result and its limits. The explanations on ZumaTools describe the task, the inputs and the choices that affect the output. Novpix LLCis responsible for the site's published content.

What the explanations cover

Instructions explain how to use the controls. Examples show how a formula or conversion behaves with specific values. Limitations describe the cases a tool cannot reliably handle, such as an unsupported format, a browser restriction or a calculation that omits part of a real-world situation. A frequently asked question should answer a decision about the task, such as whether text stays searchable after processing a PDF.

A result shown in an example is not a promise about every input. Image detail affects compression, a device affects processing time, and assumptions affect estimates. Keep the original file and compare the result before using it elsewhere.

Sources and changing requirements

A mathematical formula and a current tax rate are different kinds of information. Formulas can be checked against a worked example. Rates, official photo requirements and platform specifications need a source and an applicable date. Where a page supplies reference data, use the linked source to check which jurisdiction, year or version it covers. An estimate based on one year's data should not be treated as a calculation for another year.

Government agencies, standards bodies and the service responsible for a specification are the appropriate places to confirm their current requirements. A source link does not mean that organisation endorses ZumaTools. When an official requirement and an explanation here disagree, follow the current official requirement and report the mismatch.

Dates and change history

A content update date records a change to the page. A reference date, where provided, identifies the data or specification used. Neither date is a guarantee that an outside service has not changed since. Our changelog lists changes available in the project's recorded history; it is not an independent audit or certification of the tools.

Report an error

Email info@novpix.com with the page URL and the part you believe is incorrect. For a calculation, include non-sensitive input values, the displayed result and your expected result. For a reference claim, include the source and the date or version it applies to. For a broken interaction, include your browser and the steps needed to reproduce it.

A reproducible example makes it possible to distinguish an error from an unsupported case or a misunderstood setting. Do not attach private documents or passwords. More reporting guidance is on the contact page.

Advertising and responsibility

Advertising can support the site, but an ad is not a tool instruction, an official source or a recommendation from ZumaTools. You do not need to click an advertisement to obtain a result. Calculators and reference explanations provide general information; they do not replace professional advice or the decision of an authority accepting a document.
