About these tools
These are the edits people need once and do not want to install software for: blurring a face or an account number before sharing a screenshot, straightening a scan, adding a caption, pulling a subject off its background. Each one is a single-purpose page rather than a feature buried in a suite.
Because the processing is local, images with sensitive content stay on your device — which is the whole point of a censoring tool that runs before an image is shared, rather than after it has been uploaded somewhere to be processed. Your original file is never modified; every result is a new download.

Which background remover should I use?
Remove white background is for logos, signatures and scans on a plain light background: you set a colour tolerance and it makes those pixels transparent, which gives very clean edges. Background remover runs a small AI model (about 3 MB, downloaded once) that is trained on people, so it is the one for portraits and selfies. Neither handles pets or products on a busy background well.
Can these tools make a blurry photo sharp?
They can make a slightly soft photo look crisper, not recover detail that was never captured. Sharpen image boosts local contrast along edges; Auto photo enhancer fixes contrast, white balance and colour; Image upscaler enlarges and sharpens in one step. Motion blur and badly missed focus are beyond any of them.
Does editing here change my original file?
No. The browser reads your image, applies the edit on a canvas and gives you a new file to download. The original on your device is untouched, and nothing is uploaded.
How do I hide a face or number plate properly?
Use Censor photo, draw a box over each area and choose Pixelate with a large block size. A light blur can sometimes be partly reversed, and text under a weak blur is often still legible. Run the result through Remove EXIF metadata as well if the photo was taken on a phone, since the file itself may carry GPS coordinates.
