Your files stay on your device

Every tool on ZumaTools runs locally in your browser. Your images, PDFs, text and anything else you open are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never seen by anyone. When you close the page, nothing remains. This is a technical property of how the site is built, not just a promise — the site is a set of static files with no upload endpoint at all.

What we do collect

• Usage analytics — which pages are visited and which tools are used (for example, that a download happened on a page), approximate country, device type and browser.
• Advertising data — cookies or device identifiers set by our advertising partner to select and measure ads.
• Server logs — our web server records IP address, timestamp and requested URL for security and abuse prevention. These logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days.

We never collect your file contents, the text you type into a tool, or the results a tool produces. We do not ask for an account, an email address, or any other personal detail to use the site.

Advertising and cookies

This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregated usage statistics, so we know which tools are worth improving. IP addresses are anonymized by Google before storage. This data does not include your files, their contents, or anything you type into the tools. You can block analytics with any content blocker without affecting the tools, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. The only third parties that receive any data are Google (AdSense and Analytics, as described above) and our hosting provider, which serves the site's files. You can read Google's practices in the Google privacy & terms.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Because we hold no account data, the only data tied to you is analytics and advertising identifiers — you can remove these by clearing your browser cookies. For any other request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information for monetary consideration. California residents may request disclosure or deletion of personal information we hold, and may opt out of personalized advertising using the links above or the settings in your browser.

Children

ZumaTools is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top always shows the current version.
