AI Status — is ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini down?

Every service is judged on three independent signals, because each one alone can be wrong:

• The official status page. What the company itself reports — the most authoritative source, but often updated minutes after problems start, and some short capacity issues are never posted.
• Our reachability checks. Our server checks each service every minute and records whether it answered and how long it took. This catches outages before they are announced, but it can’t see a problem that only affects logged-in users or one feature.
• User reports. People on these pages tell us when something isn’t working. A sudden jump above the usual level for that service is an early warning; a single report is not.

A service shows Working when all three look normal, Problems when one signal points to trouble (for example a minor official incident or a spike in reports), and Major outage when the official page reports a major outage or our checks fail repeatedly. Unknown means we don’t have enough data to say.

If a service looks fine here but not for you, the problem is usually local — each service page lists the specific fixes that help most often.
