Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the undated and dated planner?

Undated is a single page with the weekday names and a “Week of” line to write in: print it whenever you need a new week, in any year. Dated is a PDF with one page for every week of the chosen year — 53 pages for 2027, from the week that holds January 1 to the week that holds December 31 — each with the dates, the month and that week’s holidays in the column headings.

Which hours does the planner cover?

Fifteen one-hour rows labelled 7 AM to 9 PM (or 07:00 to 21:00), each with a faint half-hour line. If your day runs on a different schedule, pick Lines instead: you get the same fifteen ruled rows without times, so you can write in your own.

Can I have the weekend in its own columns?

Every day gets a full column of the same width, weekends included, and the weekend columns are lightly shaded in colour mode. Start the week on Monday to keep Saturday and Sunday together at the right-hand end.

What goes in the notes column?

Anything that doesn’t belong to a single hour — the week’s priorities, a to-do list, meals or a shopping list. It takes about a fifth of the page width; untick Notes column to give the days that space instead.

Can I get a week number on each page?

Yes, on the dated planner: tick ISO week numbers and each page shows “Week 1”, “Week 2” and so on in the heading. ISO weeks run Monday to Sunday, so on a Sunday-start planner the number is that of the week’s Monday.

About this tool

A weekly planner sits between a monthly calendar and a daily diary: detailed enough to block out hours, broad enough to see the whole week at once. Each page here has seven equal day columns and fifteen hourly rows, from 7 AM to 9 PM, with a faint line at every half hour for shorter appointments.

The undated version is the one to keep in a folder and print when you need it — for a work rota, a revision timetable, a meal plan or a family schedule on the fridge. The dated version builds a whole year of weekly pages in one PDF, starting with the week that contains January 1; the column headings carry the dates, a month label where a new month starts, and the holidays of the region you choose.

Landscape pages give each day the widest column, which suits handwriting; portrait pages fit a binder or clipboard. The optional notes column on the right holds the week’s priorities or a to-do list. Ink saver prints black lines only, which also photocopies cleanly.

Students use the hourly grid for lectures and study blocks, parents for school runs and activities, and people working shifts for a rota they can pin up. The PDF is made in your browser, so nothing you plan leaves your computer.
